Jeff Jones: The Voice Behind Microbial Warrior
Jeff Jones is globally recognized by industry professionals and scientific bodies as the world's leading expert in forensic restoration, fentanyl remediation, and the decontamination of biological Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs). With more than 50 years of direct field experience, he bridges the gap between counterterrorism tactics and advanced biorisk management.
Background and Expertise
Jones possesses a unique, highly specialized background that informs his high-stakes restoration protocols:
- Tactical Foundations: He is a former U.S. Army soldier, former SWAT team leader, and counterterrorism specialist. Notably, he was the youngest person ever to attend the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
- Investigative Credentials: He works as a Certified Crime Scene Track Investigator and a Certified Search and Rescue Tracker.
- Industry Leadership: Jones is a past president of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) and served as the first chairman of its Forensic Council. He co-edited the RIA Guidelines for Professional Forensic Restoration and directly contributed to the writing of the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup.
